Drive to Church Stretton in the Riley

It was a lovely day yesterday so we decided to drive to Church Stretton and climb Long Mynd.

The round trip was about 77 miles.  The only issue worth reporting with the Riley is that when we got home I tried to roll it into the garage and it would not roll freely – I had to drive it in. The hubs did not feel hot and the brakes did not smell, but clearly they were binding and will need looking at.

On the trip the Riley drove well and Jacqui recorded some ‘on the move’ videos for Jörg Hennig in Germany, who had requested some as he has an RME too and wanted to compare notes. So here are those videos and some other photos of the day.

This is Clee Hill which the Riley got up without any trouble.
