Readers of the blog will have seen the names Alan, Angie and Nick Mugglestone fairly often in connection with HSA hillclimb and sprint events, but this weekend I went to Brands Hatch to see how they, as Triple M Motorsport would get on in the first three rounds of the 2016 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup series with Jamie Orton at the wheel.
These were supporting races to the British Touring Car Championship so it was very busy but the weather and atmosphere was fantastic.
Jamie was fastest in qualifying and won the first race from pole, came second in the second and was spun around by another driver at Clearways in the third resulting in an 11th place finish. If you want to follow Triple M’s fortunes see their Triple M Motorsport Facebook Page.
