Preparations.

One of the first things we did was put the roll bar back into the car. This was relatively easy as all the holes had already been drilled. Here we see one of my sons, Sebbie, working on the car.

We also made a beam breaker, aka a timing strut.  This was our second attempt – the first one was  made of ply wood!.  Later we found a sheet of  hard plastic at our local hardware shop which was easy to cut and drill and looks much better.  The bracketry comes from B&Q.

Our first beam breaker.
